From the South - M6 to Lancaster (Junction
34) and follow the A683 to Kirkby Lonsdale. Turn right onto
the A65 towards Ingleton.
From the North – M6 to Junction 36
(Kendal & South Lakes), then follow the A65 to Kirkby
Lonsdale.
From the North-East/East – From Yorkshire,
follow the A65 from Settle towards Ingleton.
From Tyne & Wear/Northumbria/Durham, follow the A66 to
Brough/Kirkby Stephen and then the A685 and A683 to Kirkby
Lonsdale. Or, alternatively, from the A1 (M), follow the A684
from Bedale to Hawes, then the B6255 to Ingleton.
Midway between Kirkby Lonsdale and Ingleton, turn off the
A65 to Ireby. After approximately half a mile (at Dale House),
the road bears left to Leck - you need to go to the right.
Pass the red telephone box on your right and follow High Barn Road
to the second road bridge (approx 100 metres). Bainbridge
House (owner’s home) is the last house on your left.
